Retail Best Practice business processes

Hi all.

For early planning of our Retail project, we want to describe our high-level Retail business processes - using Best Practice names.

As a newbee in Retail, I am not sure what is the best choise: To use the Retail Solution Map (http://esworkplace.sap.com), use the Value Map (https://rapid.sap.com/se/executive#!/vlm/i_retail/vlm-i_retail-ind~~.~~i_retail) or downloading the SAP Best Practice for Retail and install int Solution Manager.
