Prerequisites
  • Required:
    • Knowledge about functionality in SAP F&R 5.1
    • Knowledge about the supply chain process in  general
    • General experience with SAP systems (Navigation -  SAP01)
  • Recommended:
    • Knowledge about the replenishment process in SAP Retail
Course Goals
  • The participants understand the new functionality of SAP F&R 5.2 and are able to perform new customizing settings as well as new application reports necessary to run the forecasting and replenishment process
Course Content
  • Transport Load Optimization
  • Rule-based Generation of Exception Messages
  • Sales Order Integration
  • Source List Integration
  • Forecasting:
    • Order forecast using variable reorder point
    • Alternative determination of zero stock days
    • Trend component with dampening factor
    • Elimination of collinear DIF’s
  • Requirements Calculation: Integration of Transit  Stock
  • Requirements Quantity Optimization: Absolute  vendor discounts
  • Replenishment Workbench/Cause Determination:
    • Data visibility: Corrected consumption history,  optimization details
    • Selection by order proposal number
    • Mass maintenance for delivery date
  • Interfaces:
    • Demand Influencing Factor: Promotion Integration  including integration with SAP PMR, default values for time-dependent promotion  data
  • Authorization Concept: Authorization for  logistical rounding

  • SAP F&R 5.2
  • SAP ERP for Retail ECC 6.0 EHP6
