Idoc is generated in WP_PLU03, but the retail price to POS is unable to generate in segment E1WPA04. The pricing is maintain. When I using WPHF to analysis the article, I found with X under column "Manual Price". Also I have checked the box "price required" in article master's POS view. Any comments? Thank you

Would like to ask for your advice in terms of using different movement types for physical inventory process.
The scenario is like this:
1) Our client uses different counting processes for store inventory, with both annual full stock take AND spontaneous ad-hoc counting which is more frequent and involve probably around 30 articles a week.
2) Both types of counting involve count result interface from a 3rd party POS system
3) Since it is count result interface, we are considering the standard PI process (MI01, MI04, MI07, MI31, MI20, etcetc)
4) However the standard movement type is 701/702 while our client request a different financial posting, hence different movement types, for the ad-hoc counting
So the question is very simple: Is there a way for SAP to determine using 701/702 when it is a full stock take, while using another set of Z-movement types when it is a ad-hoc count. Bare in mind that both information are the count result, not a variance adjustment, from external POS system.

We have a requirement to separate sales and return transaction movement types (251 and 252) for even the same articles.
Currently, we are using two-step process but the aggregation will combine both sales and return transactions together.
(For example, if i sell 2 article A and return 1 article A, the system will aggregate to selling only 1 article A with movement type 251.
But we want to have movement type 251 posting for 2 article A, and movement type 252 posting for 1 article A.)
Would you have any recommendation in terms of configuration?

Dear PoSDM Experts,
I'm trying to browse and search for solutions on whether retriggering the inbound IDoc to an outbound IDoc from PoSDM to ECC without changing its details and had no luck. The scenario has no aggregation and it is merely passing through PoSDM. I understand it doesn't seem practical because we can point the IDoc directly to ECC without passing PoSDM. The full scenario is an inbound IDoc is created in PoSDM coming from PI and the same IDoc will be triggered and pushed to ECC without changing the details. Sample IDoc would be WPUUMS, WPUBON and WPUTAB.
Please let me know if the above scenario is possible without enhancement. If it is possible, kindly provide me how I should execute it in PoSDM.

As per my understanding, there is a program which can be scheduled via job which auto synch all the master data from ECC to PoSDM. This means that whatever masta data available in ECC will be captured or replicated in PoSDM like 0EANUPC and 0RPA_MARM. In this regard, may I ask please what is the program used for this? I have a question on my mind that how does system determines 'Sales Organization' & 'Company Code' in the billing document which is posted trough I-Doc. I have checked a sample I-Doc but there I can not find these these org. elements .
Can someone please make me understand how system determines correct sales org/company code/distribution channel/divison.

There is situation in our PRD environment /POSDW/OUTBOUNDDISPATCHER Job running for 4500 to 6000 seconds, even after Idocs (WPUUMS & WPUTAB) are created in ECC.
Is there any workaround that need to be done? any approach highly appreciated!

One of our Customers would like to have all main business operations (financials, asset management, non-retail logistics, etc.) in one ERP system and retail-specific functions in separate IS-Retail system, real-time integrated with main ERP. By real-time integration they mean that they want to have all financial posting (even relevant to Retail) in main ERP system for to close period and make accounting reporting there.
May we kindly ask to share with us your experience regarding landscapes with the combination of two systems (ERP & Retail)?
What are the main issues, risks may be faced in this approach?

I am trying to test out cycle counting in SAP Retail. I have made customization change in omnk and check the cycle count. However, I read the document and it said I need to set the cycle count indicator in article master. I can find this field using industry material master (mm03) but I don't know where is this field under retail material master (mm43). Please advise. If there is any good reference regarding cycle counting, please let me know as well. Thanks!

I am creating promotion, and input individual article in Discount tab. But when I check the table WAKR, i cannot find a record.
However, if i select the discount according to merchandise category, the table WAKR is able to generated.
I found if there is no record in WAKR, the idoc is unable to generated as well

ct04,clwe,clwe,clw1 and wg21 but when i used to create generic article i have to find characteristics in variants tab in basic data view in mm41 but i didn't find it.

Hi experts, we've been having trouble with the profit center in the articles in the centers. When we change it through 'MM42' the system checks if the store has stock with that profit center and in case SAP responds with error and that's ok. However if we insist in saving the article master data, SAP allows us to save the record with the new profit center despite of the error.
We've been looking a solution to this issue and found the SAP Notes 1595299 - MM42: Missing checks when data saved again which says:

You change an article in transaction MM42. When you do this, fields (such as the profit center) in views or organizational levels that were not accessed are changed via reference handling. If a check error occurs when you save, and you then save again immediately, not all of the checks
are performed again and the article may be saved with changes that are not allowed. Incorrect changes in the case of the profit center may result in inconsistencies in FI, for example, as described in Note 1057674.

I am facing issue in local assortment
When I create Store in in WB01, SAP in background creates local assortment which I can view in tcode WRF_WSOA3 (Display Assortment) and in table WRS1.
for e.g. if my store is S1234, local assortment is created is stored with same name S1234 and can be displayed in WRF_WSOA3 and can view in table WRS1-ASORT field.
For few of the stores local assortment is not created properly i.e in WRS1 entry is there for S1234, but all other fields like Sales org (VKORG), distri channel (VTWEG) , Listing procedure(LSFTL), Layout (LAYUR) and even assortment category SOTYP is blank.
My Question is
1) How do I correct it? I tried by changing the data in WB02 for the store and also searched many SAP Notes, but was not able to find any helpful pointer.
2) Have anyone of you faced such kind of issue, how do you resolve it?

Last month, SAP introduced an add-on module called SAP "Fashion Management" specifically targeting apparel customers, who are into retail and manufacturing. I've few questions with regards to this module. Can you please answer,
1) Is Fashion management going to replace AFS module ?
2) Unlike AFS-Retail integration through interfaces, will it be like Fashion management integrated to IS-retail module ?.
3) Some of the functionality like grid pricing are not available in fashion management as per the reading in SAP library. Is there any feature that replaces grid pricing ?
4) Is Fashion management, a stand alone solution ? or we need retail as a mandatory module for fashion management ?

I'm facing a problem and below is issue reproduction steps.
1. Article 'A' listed to Assortment 'ASM01' which is assigned 3 sites as assortment users.
2. I executed WDBI for assortment list initialization. 3 IDOC files are generated successfully.
3. Now, I unassigned one of the site from the assortment ASM01.
4. I execute WDBU for assortment list IDOC change message. No IDOC is generated for this site.
Any idea?

For good movement from warehouse to marts we are using interface which uses wpuwbw idoc and posts in ecc.
The problem is for the article stock is there but still we are getting Deficit of stock.
