I need a conceptual answer with examples. Assortment Category C? Is that the customer is an external customer or internal customer? Assortment category A and B is for the Store and DC for which we maintain Master data. What about the customer ? Is this customer the consumer or any external store? When do we use a local assortment? Examples. Thank you

Can anyone tell me whats the important of the" assortment catogery tab" in general assortment WSOA1 (t-Code).
I found the default option is C (customer assigned catogery) whats that mean?Explain me what will happen if i select option 'A' and what will happen if i select' B' and what will happen if i select 'C' as my assortment catogery tab value in WSOA1.Explain me all the 3 options reflects of assortment catogery values in general assortment (WSOA1).

Dear Retail experts,
MARC( - RDPRF rounding profile) parameter is getting copied with a value albeit none is present for that article and Ref Site validity in Log store/DC View of Art Master. This happens when a new site created is added to an assortment in which articles exist. After the listing job completes creating segments , I check the article in MM43 Log store tab with new site as validity and I see the rounding profile populated. Now when I just enter in MM42 Log Store new site validity I do not see it and when I just save and check change documents , I can see that old value had the rnd prof and new value is blank.
To explain more , the supply source is 2 for log store .Also Log Dc do not have the rounding profile populated for Ref DC or for other listed DCs. Rounding profile is only maintained in purchasing view.
These articles are differently maintained in Log View for diff stores , MABW shows differences.
I have checked Field group settings , copy and propose are ticked for MARC-RDPRF, EINE - RDPRF .
Where is the rounding prof copied from in this case?
It causes a lot of discrepancy because we refer the field for other interface functionally when creating POs.
There are 1000's of articles in the client and highly difficulty to remove the Rdprf using mass Txns everytime a new site is created and listed.
Kindly advice in detail and query if required , I will immediately post answers.Please consider this question urgent.

We are planning to implement Bar code at one of our customer locations. In order to compare and validate the bin weight with the information stored in Barcode, it is required to have a weigh scale that can be interfaced with SAP ECC 6.0. Request to recommend a suitable weigh scale with capacity upto 50 kg that can be interfaced with SAP. Also please suggest suitable models of Barcode scanners and printers. Thanks in advance.

did you never happen to move existing stores/plants and distribution centers/plants from one company code to a new company code, because of a conveyance of business branch from an old company to a new one? Consider that both the two companies (company codes) will continue to operate on the same client, including performing cross company business processes.
As far as I understood the best way should be to create new stores/plants and new distribution centers/plants as well (besides a new company code and sales organization), assign them to the new enterprise structure and close the old stores and distribution centers, thus performing data conversion, cut-over and inizialization activities.
Do some of you know if the re-assignment of already existing plants (stores and distribution centers) to a new company code in the same client as the old company code, is a feasible way to proceed? It could make me save time in avoiding some data conversion and cut-over cativities.

We are a Retail business with approximately 105 stores in our retail network. Each store currently manages their store inventory via the SRS (SAP Retail Store) component. We have upgraded to ECC 6.0 and noticed that there are two enhancement packs available to help individual stores manage their inventory at near real-time.
The first enhancement pack (EHP 2) is associated with business function ISR_RETAIL_STORE. We are primarily interested in the in-store inventory management and the ability to consolidate the sales transactions from the POS DM (with stock information from ERP) to have real-time stock information. We are also interested in the ability to perform physical inventory and cycle counting during store hours. The second enhancement pack (EHP 3) is associated with business function ISR_RETAIL_STORE_2. The documentation indicates that the solutions can access transactions in POSDW for real-time inventory. We are curious if there are any other SAP retail customers using one (or both) of these enhancements. If yes, do you see any performance degredation on the SAP BW environment as a result of accessing real-time inventory via SRS (or mobile device)?

on MM41/42 when I enter the purchase price and click sales view. SAP calculate Final Price automatically.
Is SAP looking for priceing procedure and how? or what logic to calculate this price?

Is there a way to save of VKP0 (or any condition types) to 2 condition tables during pricing calculation via VKP5? Example: For pricing level 2, I want it to save to A071 and A900 (Custom table). In table TWVK I can only assign 1 condition table for pricing level 2.
